Active or retired New York City firefighters or fire officers may request to join by filling the online form completely and depress the SEND button. Otherwise, call and press option #1. A menu will prompt you to leave your information on the D.A.R.T. voice mail. A D.A.R.T. firefighter will return you call and and provide details for you to attend a D.A.R.T. orientation. The orientation provides all the information about D.A.R.T. including training and current procedures.
